April Update

I just re-read last blog only to see that the website app cut off the last paragraph. Apparently there is a character limit when I type a blog in the wix app. I apologize for that. Since I'm on my phone again I'm going to get right to business. Thank you all for your purchases and support. We wouldn't be able to do this without you. Tulip season went by so fast. The few days of 80 degree weather caused the last of our tulips to open in the field.

This month brought more than the warm weather. We sold flowers to local florists for the first time. I cannot begin to explain how important that is to me. I hope to continue to build relationships within our community that allow us to provide locally grown flowers to area florists. We currently have Ranunculus blooming in the hoop house, and our bachelor buttons, sunflowers and snapdragons are starting to show color.

We have been working hard to get our seedlings transplanted and our direct sown seeds in the ground. We should have bouquets ready for Mother's Day! I can't wait to see everyone at the Farmer's Market soon!
